Upcoming Sale
MCPOM Sale | SALE IS CANCELED!Due to recent updates and recommendations from Governor Larry Hogan, we have canceled the MCPOM Spring Consignment Sale. We feel it is in the best interest of our members and public to limit everyone’s exposure in this rapidly changing environment. The well being of our community is our utmost priority. As we watch the progress of this pandemic, we will see if rescheduling will be a possibility. If you purchased opportunities or priority tickets for friends and family, your purchase will be refunded. Please expect the refund within the next two weeks and contact us if you do not see your money returned. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and ask that you look for our Fall dates later this summer. Spring & Fall ConsignmentTwice a year, MCPOM hosts one of the area's largest consignment sales of high-quality infant and children's clothing and equipment. The sale is open to both members and the general public and is a great opportunity to pick up gently-used (and often new) clothing, toys, equipment, and furniture. For SellersThis is the chance for members of MCPOM to purge your closets and toy boxes of the items your multiples have outgrown. We provide all advertising, the facility and staffing of the sale; members receive 60-85% of the proceeds from their items sold. Unsold items can be donated to a local charity and donation receipts are provided for tax purposes. **New This Year: Anyone can sell! If you have tons of of kid items to sell, but are not a MCPOM member because you don't have multiples, REGISTER ONLINE for $10 and you can sell, too!** For ShoppersWant to shop before the general public? Purchase a Priority Ticket, before they sell out! HERE The sale provides the perfect opportunity to stock up on all of the necessities for infants and children at bargain prices as well as the chance to ask our member volunteers for advice about what to buy at each stage of your children's lives. Our sale works more like a store than a yard sale. We have strict guidelines to ensure that all items sold are in good condition. Each item is electronically tagged and bar coded, sorted, and placed with like items. Our sales are held in the spring and fall – usually March and October – depending on facility availability. Last sale we had over 200 families of twins and triplets selling gently used items with over 500 members of the public shopping at the sale. Arrive early for the best deals – lines often begin to form at least an hour before admission. PLEASE NOTE: Due to safety concerns, we cannot allow shoppers to bring in their strollers. PAYMENTWe accept cash, checks and credit cards (Visa, MC and Discover - additional fee applies).ALL SALES ARE FINAL. ** NEW this year- Entrance is FREE WHAT YOU'LL FIND
