Are you prepared in an emergency situation involving your child or family member? How efficiently we, as parents, respond to an emergency is oftentimes the determining factor in a rescue attempt. Basic Life Support Instructor Jason Gelatka will be leading us in a class on how to respond to choking, cardiac and respiratory arrest in adults, infants, and children. He is currently credentialed as an instructor by the Baltimore County Fire and Medical Rescue. In the last four years as an instructor he has focused on teaching medical professionals and first responders, and is now bringing this first hand knowledge to teach parents how to handle life threatening emergencies.
Participants will receive a certification card once the course has been completed.
*Registration will cap out at 20 participants.
