***This is the link to sign up for the 2nd available date for the CPR class. You are registering for the MARCH 16th class at 10am.***
Are you prepared in an emergency situation involving your child or family member? How efficiently we, as parents, respond to an emergency is oftentimes the determining factor in a rescue attempt.
Join a small group of MCPOM members as you are taught by an AHA trained instructor in the basics of CPR and first aid for adults, children, and infants. This small group class will give you hands on experience and equip you with skills to assist in an emergency in our outside of your home.
This class will be led by members of the Hillandale Volunteer Fire Department in Silver Spring. The class will be held in their 2nd floor training classroom (no elevator access)
***Adults and teenagers ages 14 and up only- there is no option for childcare during the class and children are not allowed in the space***
The cost of the class is $30 per person to cover materials and organization fees.
You may sign up for just yourself or yourself and a guest- however that guest must be your spouse or a member of your immediate household as we are keeping this event for MCPOM members only. If your teenager (must be at least 14yo, have the maturity to sit through and participate in a 3hr class, have the upper body strength required to perform compressions on the mannequin) is interested in attending, you may sign up and send me an email at katetomes24@gmail.com to adjust the name on the sign up sheet.
*Registration limited to 6 participants
Certification card available for additional purchase once the course has been completed.
